暗闇の次に美しい光
光の存在が視覚を成立させ
視覚から美の存在を想像し価値を創造する。
人はそれぞれ相対的に美を追求し
時代、主義、主観とともに美を変貌させていく。
人が見ることのできない洞察される純粋な形の存在は
完全な暗闇の中にこそ存在する。
なぜなら、そこには時代、主義、主観が存在しない。
暗闇の世界に微かな光を与えると
おぼろげな形が生み出される。
人間の視覚では体験できない形
情報が少ないからこそ見ることのできる世界
いままで見ていると思っているものは
おぼろげな形が数多な光の積層である。
暗闇が人々の視覚を失わせ
暗闇から光が視覚を生み
暗闇の存在を認識させる光こそが
暗闇の次に美しい光である。

ARTIST STATEMENT
The most beautiful light next to the dark
The presence of light is what gives rise to sight. From sight, people discern the presence of beauty, and create value.
People pursue beauty in relative terms, transforming its visage with each era, ideology, subjective view.
Total darkness is where the being of the “discerned pure form” invisible to humans exists;
because there era, ideology and subjectivity do not exist.
Introduce a glimmer of light to a world of darkness, and hazy forms will be produced.
Forms unable to be experienced by human vision
Worlds rendered visible precisely by the paucity of information
That which we think we gaze upon, is actually myriad layers of light making hazy forms.
Darkness causes people to lose their sight; light arriving in darkness gives birth to sight.
Light that compels us to acknowledge the dark is, after the dark, the most beautiful.
